Community Giving Program

Flatiron is deeply committed to investing in the communities where our BESS projects are located. We aim to support the community by facilitating educational workshops, sponsoring local events, volunteering our time, and deepening our understanding of community priorities.

Our Flatiron Energy Community Giving Program is a quarterly, rotating funding opportunity open to all non-profits in [town/city/borough].

Local non-profits can apply for funding ranging from $250 to $1,000 through an application process reviewed four times a year.

Our Community Giving Program ensures that Flatiron learns about all community priorities and provides an opportunity to support a wide range of initiatives. As a member of the community in which our project is being developed, we invite you to apply to our Community Giving Program.

Eligibility
  • Must be serving community members within the project area

  • Must be a 501 (c) (3)

  • Must be able to provide W9 and ACH information

Selection Criteria
  • Flatiron Energy will award up to three organizations per quarter.

  • Ability to demonstrate that the organization provides a service that benefits the overall
well-being of the community.

  • Preference given to organizations that serve community members in the
project area most directly.

  • Groups can be rewarded up to twice per year.

by the found application close date.
